Draft pending review Draft of 2026-10-02

Draft pending review. This text is an English draft. It has not been reviewed yet, it may change, and it is not legal advice. The text of this page is English only for now.

Who we are

DayzHUB Console is a web tool for DayZ server owners and their staff. It is operated by DayzHUB (dayzhub.net). You can reach us at [email protected].

This page explains what personal data the Console stores, why, for how long and who else handles it. It is a draft pending review.

What the Console stores

The Console stores the following, and only to run the features you or your community use:

  • Your Console account: how you sign in (a Discord ID and name, a Steam ID, or an e-mail address with a password hash), your chosen language, your plan and the sessions you are signed in with.
  • Players of the servers you connect: Steam ID, the names the player has used, playtime, join and leave times, bans, notes your staff write, and, depending on the plan, kills, deaths, chat lines and other in-game logs the agent or RCON reports.
  • Your servers' settings: name, address, RCON and webhook secrets (stored encrypted), schedules, messages, lists and staff members.
  • Payments you make for a plan: the amount, date, the payment provider's reference and the receipt. Card or PayPal credentials are never seen or stored by the Console.
  • Support tickets and e-mails sent by the Console (a short log of what was sent and when).

What the Console does not store

  • Player IP addresses are not stored. The Console does not ask the game server for them and does not keep the IP address of anyone who visits the site.
  • IP-based features (VPN or country blocking, alternate-account hints) are off. If they are ever switched on, they need the owner's consent, a separate notice and a short retention, and this page will be updated first.
  • Your visitors' IP addresses are used in memory only, to limit abusive request rates, and are not written to the database.

Why we use the data

  • To provide the service you asked for: showing your server, applying your rules, keeping your ban and whitelist lists.
  • To keep the service safe and working: rate limits, abuse prevention, error monitoring and backups.
  • To bill a plan and to answer support requests.

Who handles the data

Some providers handle data for us. See Data processing for the list: Discord, Steam, PayPal, our hosting provider and the provider that delivers our e-mails.

Your rights

You can export the data of your account and erase your account, with the servers and data attached to it, yourself, from your Account page in the Console. Payments and receipts are kept for accounting and refund purposes.

If you are a player on a community that uses the Console and want your data corrected or removed, ask the owner of that community first: they decide how their server is run. You can also write to [email protected].

Changes

This is a draft. The final text will be published here, with its date, when the owner approves it.
